Ep. 3 | Melissa Haughton sojourns solo - always in the company of music

Solo sojourning doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing life alone. For Melissa Haughton, this has been an extension of many communities near and far.

Melissa is a community-focused writer, marketer and audio producer passionate about the ways stories can connect us. From her home base in Toronto or across the pond, Melissa weaves an array of creativity within her personal and professional realms.

I met Melissa during one of them - at a podcast incubator program - and have had the honour of being a guest on her series, So What Are You?. I have witnessed Melissa apply her talent for audio, words and ideas in limitless forms, and now, she is sharing Seuxlow Stories, a newsletter for - what she notes as “fellow [under]sharers figuring out how to find balance, (re)ignite creativity and seek out small moments of wonder amidst the big demands of life.”

In this episode, we’ll learn more about Seuxlow Stories, and the tunes that have been a sonic companion to Melissa’s journey to date; from the records she grew up with in a musical household, to vivid festival moments, the small, yet meaningful connections, one makes in big rooms, and much more.
